Our Family Favourites To Yours
It all started when my Mamma Antonia and Papa Carmelo opened their pizzeria, Sorrento Pizzeria, in Dunstable together with their four sons in 1981.
Donatello’s Pizzeria quickly established a reputation for good quality Italian food with Mamma Antonia in the kitchen and Carmelo at front of house. Further success ensued when they extended the pizzeria to an ala carte Ristorante along side the Pizzeria, offering Mediterranean cuisine with the focus on Italian food.
We are still recognised as one of the best Italian-style pizzerias around.
Having being awarded Gold in the Italian Pizza & Pasta Awards 2016, and reaching the Finals since for Pizza championship And pasta Chef of the Year 2017,2018,2019,2021.
Our menu showcases an unbeatable selection of delicious homemade Traditional & ContemporaryPizza &Pasta with a plethora of specials too many to name to suit the tastes of everyone. In the kitchen we have over 40 years experiences, talent and flair to create virtually any desired Italian dish with notice. At Donatello’s we specialise in vegetarian and vegan dishes; whilst our flexibility and versatility means we can cater to dietary needs with prior warning.
